Mom's sugar cookies

Ingredients: 

• 1/2 cup butter 
• 1 1/3 cup sugar 
• 2 eggs 
• 1 Cup sour cream
  
• 1 tsp. vanilla 
• 2 and 3/4 Cups flour 
• 1/2 tsp salt 
• 1/2 tsp. soda 

 Instructions: Mix and add enough flour to make the dough workable. I put it in the frig for an hour. Cut into shapes and put on a slightly greased cookie sheet. bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 min. Watch very closely-----they don't have to be brown to be done. Ice with buttercream or cream cheese icing.
